Ginkgo

f/8 @ 1/30 at ISO 200

For our object lighting class we were given the assignment to photograph a pharmaceutical drug or herbal remedy and I chose Ginkgo Biloba.  Ginkgo is known for its ability to enhance memory, concentration and blood circulation.

This image was captured with a Nikon D300 and Nikkor 18-70 mm lens at a focal length of 60 mm.

  2. Great picture! I like the soft gradient on the wood, and the color pairing of the dark wood and the green Gingko. Also, a very nice and clean background!

  4. I like the simplistic design with the ginkgo leaves spread around the mortar and pedestal. The lighting is nice and enhances the objects in your photo.
