This is a Wolf Spider Jason found in the backyard.  I just knew that any minute he or she was going to jump at me but I put my big girl panties on and continued to move in closer, I'm glad that I did!

Lumen Printing

  

Lumen printing is a technique that used RA-4 color printing paper and objects placed on the emulsion to create an image using sunlight.  This particular lumen print was made by Elizabeth Ratledge a fellow classmate of mine at RCC.  Our assignment was to trade images and edit each others separately in photoshop.

Last fall I was out shooting for an assignment we had in object lighting and noticed this lovely reflection on the pond.

Car Fax video shoot in Vegas

This photo was taken June of 2010 in Las Vegas.  I was out there to photograph the National Independent Automobile Dealers Associations National Convention.  While I was there I was asked to help with stills for a Car Fax commercial that would be aired at the National Quality Dealers Banquet.

Focus Stacking Assignment for Macro Class

This is also a combination of 48 stacked images.

This was an image taken for my Macro class at RCC.  Photoshop is making it possible for us to obtain much more depth of field than normal with macro photography by stacking the images.

Ashley is a friend of mine who agreed to model for an assignment I had last semester in my Portrait Lighting class.  She was such a trooper, it actually was snowing the day of the shoot however she was willing to stand around outside in the cold for me.

Alligator Rock

This photograph was taken at Moss Glen Falls in Vermont.  It was not until later I noticed it resembled an alligator.

This is a headlight out of a Volvo V70.  We were asked to photograph glass for macro class so I felt this would be a nice subject.

Daddy

This is a shot I took of Daddy working in his machine shop and could be the last one ever get to take.  Daddy's congestive heart failure has became much worse over the past few months and his condition will probably not improve much at all  He was actually shaving down a large format negative carrier so I could print full frame for my portfolio.

Isle of Palms

This image was taken in November of 2010 at the Isle of Palms in South Carolina.  Unfortunately, this was the only time I was able to go to the beach last year.
