Lumen printing is a technique that used RA-4 color printing paper and objects placed on the emulsion to create an image using sunlight. This particular lumen print was made by Elizabeth Ratledge a fellow classmate of mine at RCC. Our assignment was to trade images and edit each others separately in photoshop.

ReplyDeleteHey look! Didn't know you had posted this! I like your take on the print! The colors are fantastic and the rotation of the image gives it a more abstract feeling than the other way.
ReplyDeleteAfter exposure, was the image fixed? If so, what fixer was used?
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of paper was used? Did you tone the print? Is the blue and green from Photoshop? I have several Lumen prints made on B&W paper both luster and fiber and I only get pinks, purples and browns. This is beautiful?
